Note: As our policy of testing every product we sell before it goes on our shelves, we have tried many different brands of pool cleaners in my pool (a 45 foot long 'lightning bolt'), and these are the only ones that actually cleaned it and did not have major problems. Listed alphabetically.

Features include far fewer moving parts than any other pool cleaner (!), and ability to install simply by plugging into a skimmer. Needs low suction pressure, so if more than one skimmer is present, only one skimmer needs to be plugged and the other can function normally (or slightly closed in some cases) Works great with dedicated suction line, allows skimmer to be open and functional.. • Polaris Products - Pressure type automatic pool cleaner, has models for both booster pump driven and non-boosted systems. Models for plaster pools, fiberglass pools, in-ground vinyl pools and above-ground pools. Polaris' reputation for automatic pool cleaners makes it one of the most 'Compared to' products in the pool industry. Requires dedicated return line for pool-vac-sweep to operate. Booster driven models require a timer for daily operation, as they only need operate for 2 to 3 hours daily to keep most pools clean! • StaRite Great White - Only pool cleaner ever tested that climbed up to the tile line and scrubbed my tiles. Suction type, works on most pools. Built by one of the best equipment manufacturer in the world, it is reliable, and passed our field tests with flying colors.
